A WTF EXHIBITION ON A BEACH WHERE ART GOES FULL LOBOTOMY: Quality of Life Gallery, the
only gallery that makes you wish you were cooler, is invading Magaluf Beach with WASHED UP.
No walls, no ceiling, no overhyped London post-industrial wankery - just pure, unfiltered
ART, baby, sprawling across the beach like a fever dream sketched in sand. You thought art
needed a curator? Nah, fam, we're taking it tidal. You, the sand, the sea, and whatever
madness we've washed up. Still think you get it? You don't.
Concept
So, what's the deal? It's not another wannabe pop-up begging for influencer approval. WASHED UP is pure chaos - art gone rogue, smashing the gallery system like a stolen Lime scooter through a vape shop window. We're out here because 2024's a mess and the beach is a sanctuary of unfiltered inspiration. The tide messes with the art, the art messes with your head, and the whole thing just shrugs off your attempts at control. There's no chill. Stay grounded or get wrecked. Richard Parry, artist: "Imagine a stretch of sand where the tide constantly redefines the art, refusing permanence or control. It's raw, surreal, and the whole thing's like one massive metaphor for London. You're not just seeing art, you're standing in the wreckage of it. Welcome to 2024."
Artists and Works
Ever had your mind rinsed by art? WASHED UP is gonna hit you harder than a rave on 2%. We've got wild Land Art that melts into the sand like a Dali clock, Readymades that scream, "Look at me!" louder than a private school dropout on ket, and Relational Art that drags you into the mess whether you like it or not. Our crew of London-based renegades aren't here to play nice. Prepare yourself for art so raw you might actually feel something. Accessibility and Visitor Experience WASHED UP is not just an exhibition - it's a vibe. You'll step from the Magaluf promenade straight onto the sand, where art, nature, and the Mediterranean breeze converge. The installation will unfold across the beachfront, encouraging exploration, interaction, and reflection. As you wander, music curated by local DJs will mix with the natural sounds of the beach, creating a unique sensory experience that enhances the art and immerses you in the moment.
Safety and Environmental Considerations
WASHED UP is installed with eco-friendly materials, so while the art's causing a storm in your head, it's leaving the planet in peace. We're not here to trash the place - we're here to keep it weird and green. Join Us
This isn't an art exhibition. No, no, no. That would be too easy, wouldn't it? Too comforting. Too much like what you'd expect. This is something else entirely. Embrace the unexpected and discover the art in its rawest, most elemental form. For more information please read our Exhibitor FAQs.
